Featuring Chip, Toddla T, Zed Bias, and Newham Generals...

Idris Elba has confirmed the release of 'The YARDIE Mixtape'.

The mixtape is based on and inspired by YARDIE, the film that represents the London artist's directorial debut.

Steeped in the musical history of London, Idris Elba has now spearheaded a fresh mixtape featuring a host of guests.

Idris comments: “Making a film as director allowed me, for the first time, to influence the music, in this case reggae. I had the best seat in the house, music and film. So this mixtape is the aftershock of YARDIE, a collection of tunes that extends my love affair with the film. It was a true collaboration and everyone on the tape could relate to YARDIE.”

Chip, Toddla T, Zed Bias, and more contribute, with Newham Generals sharing their new cut 'King Fox'.
