Signalling their return earlier this year, much loved Scottish group Idlewild confirmed their intention to head back into the studio.
Appearing on 6Music yesterday evening (November 3rd), the band told host Steve Lamacq about their plans.
Idlewild's new album 'Everything Ever Written' will be released on February 9th, and was produced by guitarist Rod Jones.
Roddy Woomble said in a statement: "The album was predominantly written on the Isle of Mull. The record soundtracks a period of transition. Working without time constraints gave the whole thing a creative freedom. Idlewild is a new band to me now; I’m excited for the future."
