IDK has dropped new single ‘Peloton’ alongside an animated visualiser, in support of his upcoming album ‘USEE4YOURSELF’.
IDK has consistently pushed forward with his work, trailblazing and experimenting, and ‘Peloton’ is no different, with trap-soul-production and sung hook. Lyrically, the track focuses on IDK’s fears that a relationship may become toxic when he reveals his true self to his lover.
The production is equal parts old school and new school, with Kanye-esque sampling and bouncy trap drums used in conjunction. The overall effect is a track that can seemingly fit into any playlist, into any setting, with IDK’s charismatic flow a highlight as ever.
‘Peloton’ follows a successful run of singles from IDK this year, as well as success outside of releasing music with the music business course he is set to run at Harvard in Fall 2021. ‘USEE4YOURSELF’ will be IDK’s second album, and it's due on July 9th.
