The duo's new album 'Click Click Domino' is out now...

UK-via-Nashville two-piece Ida Mae have an intimate, intricate understanding of one another.

Retreating to the studio over lockdown, they burrowed deep within themselves, matching husky Americana to some playful studio experimentation.

New album 'Click Click Domino' is out now, with Ida Mae's Chris Turpin handling production, while Stephanie Jean has crafted the art.

A creative universe unto themselves, it's a gorgeous listen, with Chris Turpin inviting fans to spend time with it:

"It's an important moment captured for us and we hope through all the noise people can tune to it and lose themselves for a little while..."

Album cut 'Deep River' is a true highlight, one that seems to tap into Southern gothic while illuminating personal concerns.

We've grabbed a performance clip, one that strips the song down to little more than guitar, the merest daub of percussion, and vocals.

An engrossing watch, you can tune in below.

Catch Ida Mae at London's St Matthias Church on August 19th - tickets HERE.
