"We belong to no one."

A few weeks ago, Iceage sprung a surprise on fans.

New cut 'The Lord's Favourite' eschewed their darkly intense take on post-punk fused with hardcore for something which was a little... country.

Causing all manner of confusion, speculation and debate, the group have decided to follow this with their third studio LP.

'Ploughing Through The Field Of Love' will be released through Matador on October 6th, with the band placing new track 'Forever' online now.

Climaxing with some South American inspired horns, this is a long way away from where Iceage have previously dwelled.

Check it out below.

Iceage spoke to Noisey earlier this year, with Elias Bender Rønnenfelt offering the following quote: "We deliberately put The Lord's Favorite out first to destroy some of the expectations on what kind of band we are. We belong to no one."

Expect the unexpected...

'Ploughing Through The Field Of Love' will be released on October 6th. Catch Iceage at the 100 Club on December 2nd.
