Ice Cube appeared on BBC Radio 5Live this morning (January 22nd) and described George Osborne as his "homie".
The politician famously attended an N.W.A. concert at Brixton Academy in the early 90s, a rare chance to catch the group's original line up on British soil.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5Live, Ice Cube decided to repay the compliment: "Yeah, he’s my homie. That’s what I’m saying, you know. We can influence the world. He went to a NWA concert and look what he turned out to be."
