Returning indie icon Ian Brown is set to appear in the new Adidas advert alongside a host of star names.
Ian Brown’s new album ‘My Way’ has seen the singer re-assert his independence. A much more introspective affair than past solo efforts, the record features multiple references to former group The Stone Roses.
Preceded by his new single ‘Stellify’ the album has been met with warm reviews. Filming the video for the single in his native Manchester Ian Brown seemed on relaxed form, pleased to be back in his hometown.
However the past few days have seen rumours emerge of unusual collaborations. In a recent interview Ian Brown claimed that John Squire had sent him a new song for inclusion on his album ‘My Way’.
In addition to this, the singer revealed that he is planning to record songs with one time Smiths guitar slinger Johnny Marr. Now it seems that Ian Brown is set to star in a new Adidas commercial alongside a stunning range of stars.
The singer appeared at filming in Bow, East London last Monday (September 21st) and appeared to be on good form.
Ian Brown was joined by fellow Manchester musical legend Noel Gallagher, now freed of his employment with Oasis. The pair joked together, with shooting taking place the day after a recent tumultuous Manchester derby.
Also appearing in the advert are the likes of Daft Punk, Franz Beckenbauer, Agyness Deyn, David Beckham and more.
Ian Brown’s new album ‘My Way’ is out now.
