HRTLSS has bounced back with his brand new single ‘Final Lullaby’.
Sporting big drums and momentous guitar riffs, the track comes together as a magnetic listen from start to finish. Using a cinematic production to propel himself further, the artist soars across the hook, leaning into a gritty, charged vocal delivery. Lyrically, the Cambridge-based riser reaches into the core of grief and loss, finding solace within lasting, final conversations.
Across the last six years, HRTLSS has been re-igniting the flame of metal grunge, echoing the work of Evanescence and Linking Park with a fresh, pop spin. His journey has seen him tour across Europe and beyond, joining the likes of You Me At Six, Enter Shikari, Bullet For My Valentine, A Day To Remember, and Architects on tour. Now set to release a brand new project, there’s the sense that HRTLSS is shifting up a gear, one that ‘Final Lullaby’ is pushing towards.
Speaking on the release, HRTLSS expands: “It’s easy to write about something that’s close to you, and whilst an end of the world scenario is unlikely, imagining how I would feel knowing we only had minutes or hours left together, was enough to provoke the words and the message of our ‘Final lullaby’ which is essentially your last kiss, your last embrace, your last breath. ”
Tune in now.
