Irish singer sets sights on UK...

Ireland's music scene is booming.

Kodaline have sent UK fans into raptures, while The Strypes ongoing quest to tun rhythm 'n' blues into our national language is bearing all manner of fruit.

Born in County Wicklow on St. Patrick's Day, there is none more Irish than Hozier. New EP 'From Eden' allows British audiences a glimpse into his world, and it's already proving to be intoxicating.

Zane Lowe named 'From Eden' as 'The Hottest Record In The World' earlier this week, with the title cut emerging online shortly afterwards.

Plangent, pastoral songwriting, Hozier's work is rooted in folk yet with a sweetness which could only come from pop.

Add in that husky rasp, and you have a performer who could soon follow in the footsteps of his countrymen...

Check out 'From Eden' below.

'From Eden' is set to be released on March 31st.
