Electro geek chic workaholics Hot Chip have unveiled yet another project, with the release of a solo album by Alexis Taylor called ‘Rubbed Out’.
Taylor has had a busy year, with Hot Chip releasing their third album proper (‘Made In The Dark’), touring extensively and recording their next album. Phew! No wonder he looks so knackered. Hot Chip also found time to appear on our first issue of 2008, amongst numerous other remixing projects.
The new solo album by Alexis Taylor is called ‘Rubbed Out’ and was apparently recorded on the road, in a variety of different locations. Featuring the usual gentle tones of Taylor, the new album will also include a cover of ‘Coming Up’ by Sir Paul McCartney.
