The first single to be taken from Hot Chip’s new album has been announced as “Ready For The Floor” and will be released on January 28th. The parent album – entitled “Made In The Dark” – will follow on February 4th.
After years of steadily building momentum Hot Chip finally broke through to the mainstream last year with their Mercury nominated “The Warning”. The band have continually pushed back the boundaries of what pop music should be, and how it should operate. Yet “Ready For The Floor” is one of their most commercial tracks to date.
“Ready For The Floor” will be released on 7 inch, and as a special CD, from January 28th.
Hot Chip will tour in support of the new album, and will visit the following venues:
