London electro pop outfit Hot Chip are to release a special collaboration with Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy.
As far as their output goes, Hot Chip and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy are worlds apart. The London group specialise in elastic synth-funk, matching Prince with emerging dance sounds from the city’s underground club scene.
Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy meanwhile, concentrates on stubborn renditions of the human soul. With his new album approaching, the American singer has now added his vocals to a new mix from Hot Chip.
Taken from their new album, the single ‘I Feel Better’ has been given an overhaul. Handed over to a number of producers, remixes have been crafted by the likes of Richard X, Den Haan and more.
In a new move, Hot Chip have passed the track over to Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy to add his distinct vocals to. Re-titled ‘I Feel Bonnie’ the new version of the song will be available on the 12 inch of the forthcoming single.

Meanwhile, the full single version of ‘I Feel Better’ comes equipped with a brilliant new video directed by Peter Serafinowicz.
