Horrors Mixtape Download

New mix available now

London goth-garage types The Horrors have released a new web only mixtape.

The Horrors are set to return this year. The group released their debut album in 2007 to mixed reviews, with the musicians taking time off afterwards to focus on other projects.

The band’s regular clubnight The Cave is a fixture of London nightlife, and features regular DJ sets from the band members themselves. The new mixtape has been put together by Spider Webb and Tom Furse, and features a frenetic blend of styles.

The duo also work together under the name Spider And The Flies. The pair released an album earlier this year, which features blocks of electronica inspired by the pioneering work of the BBC Radiophonic Orchestra.

Well received by fans and critics, the album’s inspirations will be revealed on the new mixtape which includes primitive electronica, garage punk and much more.

Titled ‘Up’ the mix will be followed by another release which will be called ‘Down’.

The Horrors recently mystified fans by beginning a countdown on their website. Set to end soon, it has been speculated that the timer may lead to new material. However, no release has been confirmed by the band.
