Honour Announces Debut Album ‘Àlàáfía’

'Àlàáfía' lands November 3rd via PAN...

Elusive artist Honour announces the release of debut album ‘Àlàáfía‘, with the stuttering, rhythmic friction of lead single ‘U&Me (decemberseventeen)’.

Released on PAN, the tape-saturated ‘Àlàáfía’ is dedicated to Honour’s late grandmother. Steeped in the lore of Lagos and London, the 14-track collection is a dense and disorienting evocation “on the themes of life, death and love that pulls inspiration from the unexpected poetic profundity of casual conversations, field recordings, literature, ephemera, or personal archives.”

An anonymous act, Honour has previously released two mixtapes on PAN, one of which was 2022’s ‘Beg 4 Mercy’. Honour performed at Primavera this year and will soon grace the stages of Berlin Atonal and Club2Club.

‘Àlàáfía’ arrives November 3rd.
