HONNE return with new single ‘Imaginary’.
The band – Andy Clutterbuck and James Hatcher – formed a decade ago, releasing three albums (and one mixtape) in the process. Spinning the creative dials once more, HONNE commence something fresh with this all-new single.
Out now, ‘Imaginary’ is laden with colour and vitality, carrying some of HONNE’s inherent optimism. Uplifting energy and neat pop thrills, it carries a child-like sense of innocence – the duo comment…
“‘Imaginary’ is about beginnings. It tells the story of when I first met my wife all those years ago back in college and how my imagination ran wild thinking about kids and our future lives together. Luckily for me it all came true and now we’re happily married with two babies…”
The music video touches on this, with William Coutts directing a fun, family-friendly production. HONNE continue…
“We came up with an idea and developed the story with director William Coutts (who happens to be my wife’s brother). From the locations, to catering, to the props and more – we did everything ourselves with the help of our families and friends. It was FULL ON but amazing when we pulled it off. We even went back to our old college where I met my wife all those years ago, so it’s just about as true to the story as it gets. My dad and James’ mum even have (very obvious!) cameos in the video, making this an all star family production.”
Tune in now.
