London outfit Honkies simply cannot be tamed.

An unstoppable live force, their fusion of country, punk, and broken down synths makes for an incendiary noise.

Releasing the frenetic 'Hold Your Horses/It's All Kicking Of for Honkies!!!11!!!!' EP via Permanent Creeps earlier in the year, the group somehow got that energy down on tape.

2020 holds a bunch of surprises, but to end the year Honkies have leaped back into the infamous Sam & Rachel Studios to focus on something new.

New single 'Slugs' is out now digitally, with a limited run of seven inch singles to follow on November 16th via T-Bar Records.

It's an ultra-dirty, exceptionally sleazy piece of garage punk, layered in those country inflections and dollops of synthetic sound.

Honkies explain: "The lyrics are an ode to attending bad social functions for the sake of spending time with good people - mostly on cocaine."
