Honey Harper will release debut album 'Starmaker' on March 6th.
The songwriter moved to London a few years back, working with shoegaze bands and art-pop ensembles.
Returning to his country roots, debut EP 'Universal Country' landed on Montreal's Arbutus Records.
Mysterious, opaque songwriting with a personal edge, it's set to be followed by a full length album.
Out on March 6th via ATO Records, 'Starmaker' is a full length survey of the sounds he describes as "celestial honky-tonk".
New single 'Light Of Us' is out now, and it's hazy retro-futurism is augmented by a video that utilises VHS footage of the songwriter and his friends during their teenage years.
Honey Harper says... "When I turned 18 I left home and moved to Decatur, GA with my best friends. 'In Light of Us' is a significant song for me as it represents that time; the light and dark psychedelic paths that led and inspired the beginning of my journey to 'Starmaker'."
Tune in now.
Catch Honey Harper live at London's Lexington on April 1st.
