Hohnen Ford has shared her beautiful new single ‘Infinity’.
A songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Hohnen Ford conjures a timeless feel in her music, somehow capable of both expressing the universal while grappling with the personal. Signed to Young Poet, her new single ‘Infinity’ is a starting point of sorts, and it’s certainly a fine introduction to a potent new voice.
Her early recordings went viral on Reddit, building up a profound relationship with fans across a flurry of demos. Heading into the studio, Hohnen has returned with something more focused, and – if anything – more intimate.
Breezily melodic, her sighing vocal recalls Joni Mitchell, or more recently Laura Marling; there’s a pointed emotion to her work, though, that comes entirely from Hohnen Ford.
