Bristol legend Hodge has launched new label Two Moons.
The revered electronic artist and club figure has built a stellar catalogue, including drops on some excellent labels. His debut album in 2020, for example, was handled with the utmost care by Houndstooth, containing some green-fingered delights.
Two Moons is a vehicle for the producer’s work, while also allowing Hodge to platform other artists. In a note, he comments: “I’ve never released my music via my own label so I’ve decided to change that.”
Leading from the front, the inaugural release is from Hodge himself, with incoming two-tracker ‘Sub 100’ available to pre-order now. He adds: “I’ll be releasing tracks here when I write stuff I like, no real plans for how often – just when the music comes…”
