Group set for Friendly Fires tour

Hotly tipped American newcomers Hockey are due to release their eagerly anticipated debut album this summer.

Hockey have come a long way in a short time. Signed to cult imprint Too Pure the Portland, Oregon outfit have impressed with their handful of British shows. Carrying with them a formidable reputation their debut British single ‘Too Fake’ was released on Monday (March 23rd).

Hockey have been in the studio recently putting the finishing touches to their debut album ‘Mind Chaos’. Due out over the summer, the band recently revealed that they will trail the record with the single ‘Learn To Lose’.

Swaggering dance rock, the band have earned comparisons to both The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem. Eager to make good on press hype, their debut album can’t come quick enough.

However before then the group have the small matter of a UK tour to contend with. Hitting the road with shoegaze trio Friendly Fires, the band will take their fresh new sound to the nation. In addition to this, Hockey will also head off the beaten track for a short and sweet series of live dates.

Hockey are set to release their debut album ‘Mind Chaos’ later this year. The band have confirmed the following headline tour dates:
