Hippo Campus return with new single ‘Everything At Once’.
The band’s excellent 2022 album ‘LP3’ pushed them to the limit, with the Minneapolis four-piece overcoming a number of obstacles during its construction. Since then Hippo Campus have toured the world, pausing to share a fan-favourite EP.
Now they’re ready to kick off a new era. Hippo Campus play the huge Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 6th, and are exiting the traditional label system – they’ve signed to Psychic Hotline, an independent imprint run by some close friends.
New single ‘Everything At Once’ kicks it all off, with its infectious guitar line and neat chorus. A clipped, summer-ready feast of guitar pop, it was recorded in their own studio.
Hippo Campus call the song “a meditation, a focus on breath in the midst of breathless moments. slow down, breathe deep, put a name to the things you fear. be patient, surrender your forced perspective, and feel everything at once…”
A sign of their independent ethos, the video was directed by Christian Spraungel and filmed at Pachyderm Studios, outside of Minneapolis.
