New York based collective Hercules and Love Affair have set tongues wagging with their disco pop. Signed to ultra hip taste-makers DFA, and featuring none other than Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons fame on vocals, the band seem destined for stardom.
The forthcoming album will be among the most talked about releases of 2008, and fans can get a taster of its left field disco glory when single “Blind” is released on March 3rd.
Marrying dancefloor friendly beats to Antony’s typically heartfelt vocal style, the single is a great advert for the self-titled album, but stands as an important work in its own right.
