Hello Mary Race Back With ‘Down My Life’

It's out on September 13th...

American three-piece Hello Mary return with new single ‘Down My Life’.

The band’s much-tipped new album ‘Emita Ox’ was constructed in the creative hotpot Asheville, North Carolina, with Hello Mary co-producing alongside Alex Farrar.

Out on September 13th, the three-piece have secured some amazing support slots, and hit the road this Autumn.

All-new scorcher ‘Down My Life’ has a cathartic appeal, with the wild guitars masking lyrics that discuss “one of the saddest experiences” in singer Helena Straight’s life.

A song with an intensely personal meaning, the guitars reach boiling point, the emotion scarcely kept under wraps.

Helena Straight adds: “‘Down My Life’ is possibly the most lyrically powerful song for me on the record. The lyrics are somewhat vague, so the meaning behind it is not totally obvious to the listener, which is how I’d like it to be considering the state I was in when I wrote it.”

Tune in now.
