HBO has revealed that it will not commission a second season of Vinyl.
The drama launched last year, and was set during FM rock's imperial phase in the early to mid 70s.
A tale of largesse, exploitation, and betrayal, it was executive produced by Martin Scorcese and Mick Jagger.
Sadly, Vinyl won't make it to its second second. "After careful consideration, we have decided not to proceed with a second season of Vinyl," HBO said in a statement. "Obviously, this was not an easy decision. We have enormous respect for the creative team and cast for their hard work and passion on this project."
Sad to see it go.
