The Black Keys are set to release their fifth album, it has been announced.
The two piece Ohio band are renowned for their laid back bluesy swagger. In an unusual twist, the album – named “Attack And Release” – was produced in collaboration with hip hop legend Danger Mouse.
The two acts originally teamed up to focus on a project with legendary R&B star (and dubious husband) Ike Turner. However, Danger Mouse and The Black Keys quickly realised the sound was moving in different, unexpected directions.
“Attack And Release” will be released on March 31st.
