Hatcham Social Album Details

Group Name Album, Announce Live Show

Hatcham Social have become the names on everyone’s lips, and the release of debut album ‘You Dig The Tunnel, I’ll Hide The Soil’ next year should propel them into the mainstream.

The London based group have been honing their craft in the capital’s toilet venues before gaining some astonishing momentum earlier this year. Single ‘So So Happy Making’ saw the band gain a flurry of hyperbole filled reviews, as critics fought each other like wild dogs to craft the most fitting simile.

Gaining the patronage of The Horrors and other members of the indie elite, the band are well placed for an assault on the mainstream. A post on their website earlier this year hinted that the group were recording with Tim Burgess and Jim Spencer, and the resulting album is set to be released in early 2009.

Hatcham Social release debut album ‘You Dig The Tunnel, I’ll Hide The Soil’ is released in early 2009. The band have arranged the following show:

January 8th – London, Borderline
