It's a gorgeous shoegaze hymn...

Brighton's HANYA have shared their beautiful new single 'Texas'.

The south coast group delivered their debut EP 'Sea Shoes' earlier this year, a wonderfully assured introduction.

Lockdown stopped the band in their tracks but rather than give up, they simply dug in.

New single 'Texas' moves beyond the confines of their EP, pushing HANYA in a fresh direction.

Written, recorded, and produced during lockdown, the cooing harmonies are set against some glorious guitar work.

It's a nimble return, quietly moving in the way it seems to seep from the speakers, in a soft, unhurried manner.

HANYA comment...

“‘Texas’ was entirely written and recorded during lockdown, testing ourselves to work remotely as a group. The track explores the feeling of wanting to run away with someone when you first meet them – the head-over-heels uncertainty, the self-doubt and the desire to know each other entirely”.

Tune in now.
