Commemorating the 10th anniversary of their debut full-length ‘Days Are Gone’, HAIM have today announced a special performance of the album in its entirety, at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on August 31st.
HAIM will also release a special edition of ‘Days Are Gone’ on September 29th. The album will be reissued in a variety of formats including green transparent vinyl, with one LP made up of the original track list and a second featuring Bonus Tracks and remixes, a single picture disc and a 2 CD edition.
A watershed moment for sisters Alana, Danielle and Este, ‘Days Are Gone’ packed verve and coming-of-age angst into universal pop-rock odes that retained a degree of interiority. In a CLASH review, Marc Zanotti wrote: “Haim know their strengths and how to flaunt them. Layered vocals over deep, echo-y drums and plenty of synth build an album abundant in melody and hooks…”
