HAELIUM And Kasztan Mark New Beginnings With ‘Dor’

An atmospheric and intricate offering from the pair…

HAELIUM and Kasztan are merging forces on futuristic single ‘Dor’.

Serving as an introduction to Kasztan’s new label ‘Stemina Recordings’, the track embraces all the qualities of a club anthem, embarking on its own, sonic journey. The French producer is now shifting the focus towards his own production, having spent his early career in a post-rock band, further refining his skills in writing soundtracks and remixes for the likes of Sia, Tinashe and Years & Years. Leaning towards the uptempo realms of house and techno, ‘Dor’ makes its definitive step in a new direction.

Classically trained as a pianist, HAELIUM embellishes the track with elegant arpeggios, adding to the contrasting textures that build the track. Layered over a pounding kick-drum, swelling synths and a sonorous bassline, the collaboration ties together intricate instrumentation with an atmospheric and gradual approach.

‘Dor’ signals the start of Kasztan and HAELIUM‘s creative endeavors, an exciting listen from start to finish.

Kasztan comments: “My manager and I decided to launch this new label Stemina Recordings. I’m super happy that the first release is a collaborative work with Gabriel/Haelium. I love his work. The funny thing is, I discovered him as the guy who kept popping up as a similar artist on Spotify. We ended up meeting and becoming friends and composing this song together. This one we did by swapping files, but I’d love to spend some studio time with him. He’s a great pianist!”

Tune in now.
