Guy Ritchie On Madonna

Singer is "retarded"

British film director Guy Ritchie has broken his silence over his relationship with pop icon Madonna.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie married in 2000 amid a blaze of publicity. Retreating to Northern Scotland, the pair seemed to unite the United States with Britain, the music industry with cinema.

Entertainment royalty, the pair divorced last year. Completing her record breaking ‘Sticky And Sweet’ tour Madonna made frequent references to the ongoing relationship difficulties on stage.

Moving from continent to continent, the story seemed to follow Madonna wherever she went. At one point dedicating a song to the “emotionally retarded” the singer seemed to be enjoying life as a divorcee.

However in a new interview Guy Ritchie has hit back, claiming that the ‘Queen of Pop’ is “retarded, too”.

Speaking to Esquire the director said: “She’s a manifester, if there ever was one”.

“First-rate manifester. Madonna makes things happen. Put Madonna up against any 23-year-old, she’ll out-work them, out-dance them, out-perform them. The woman is broad.”

Madonna’s ‘Sticky And Sweet’ tour is the best selling tour by a solo artist of all time. The second best? Why, also Madonna.

Guy Ritchie continued by stating: “And, of course, here you go: I still love her. But she’s retarded, too.”
