Guy Andrews is set to release new album 'Tåke' on September 22nd.
The producer was moved to open his next chapter after a trip to Bergen, with a delayed flight allowing him time to explore the hills above the Norwegian city.
Struck by the intersection between geography, music, and the soul, he set about pushing his work into new, deeply physical areas.
New track 'Fjell' is online now, and it soars between the boundaries of post-punk and avant electronics, bound together by a rare sense of purpose.
He explains: "I was inspired to write 'Fjell' by walking up a mountain in Wales called Cadair Idris. Each section in the song's arrangement reflects the stages of challenge the mountain presents, and the sense of reward you get from reaching certain points."
Tune in now.
