American alt rock dons Mark Lanegan and Greg Dhulli join forces as The Gutter Twins and are set to tour the UK next month, it has been announced.
The duo joined forces last year to produce the acclaimed “Saturnalia” LP. The mixture of Lanegan’s gruff, down tempo American and Dhulli’s equally gruff, equally down tempo Americana was a hit with critics and fans alike, who packed out their UK concerts earlier this year.
The band are set to play a host of UK dates in August, including a show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire. In addition to these dates The Gutter Twins are set to play some festival dates – notably Scotland’s Connect festival set in picturesque Inveraray.
With a hefty back catalogue between them, you’d be a fool to bet against The Gutter Twins slaying a venue near you.
The Gutter Twins will play the following UK dates:
August 11th – Oxford, Zodiac
August 12th – Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
August 13th – London, Shepherds Bush Empire
August 26th – Brighton, Komedia
August 27th – Sheffield, Leadmill
August 30th – Liverpool, Academy 2
