Guns N Roses Deny Photographer Attack

Axl Rose denies incident

Guns N Roses singer Axl Rose has denied reports that he attacked photographers at an airport last Wednesday (December 10th).

Guns N Roses are a rock institution. Sure, only one original member may remain but the spirit of debauchery and outright rebellion still runs through them.

Returning last year with long awaited new album ‘Chinese Democracy’ the band still maintain an ability to start trouble in an empty room. Singer Axl Rose was allegedly in an altercation with press last week (December 10th).

According to American showbiz magazine TMZ the singer attacked photographers at Los Angeles’ LAX airport. Allegedly repeatedly punching the press a video of the incident has now surfaced.

However in a statement on the Guns N Roses MySpace page Axl Rose denied attacking the photographers. A spokesperson claimed that the singer “was unhurt last evening when he was accosted by an unruly group of paparazzi”.

The statement continued, claiming that Rose was “approached by a group of unchecked and unruly photographers who became aggressive with the singer and female members of the travelling group”.

It had been claimed that the photographer was attacked after trying to take footage of Axl Rose walking with a mystery woman. An employee of the Nation Photo Group, it is alleged the singer repeatedly punched the photographer.

Axl Rose was en-route to Taipei, Taiwan where he was set to kick-off Guns N’ Roses’ tour of Southeast Asia.
