Grumbling Fur Confirm New Album

Listen to sample track 'All The Rays' now...

A quite unique act, Grumbling Fur released 'Glynnaestra' last year to quite overwhelming acclaim.

Since then, though, the duo have continued to move forward. Recording new material in a 1930s house owned by the artist Ian Johnstone, the unique environment spurred the group on to new heights.

Hooking up with the critical Big Doggs over at theQuietus, Grumbling Fur are set to release new album 'Preternaturals' on August 11th.

The band claim to be inspired by Spacemen 3, Faust, Ram-era Paul McCartney, dub, Philip K Dick and the Preternaturals idea of "fear that human beings are outside of nature… everything can be elucidated by nature but that we don’t have access to that".

Intriguing stuff. New track 'All The Rays' has emerged online and it's a wonderfully odd, terrifically engaging piece of cerebral synth pop.

Listen to it below.
