The Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J Blige herself, has announced her first nationwide tour of the UK in over five years, it has been revealed.
Mary J Blige is without doubt one of the most popular female performers of her generation, her smooth, gospel inflected vocals wrapping themselves around the most intoxicating of beats.
Mary J Blige released her “Growing Pains” album to much success last year, and is currently filming a biopic of soul singer Nina Simone in which she will play the lead role.
Mary J Blige will play the following UK tour dates:
June 3rd – O2 Arena, London
June 5th – MEN Arena, Manchester
June 6th – NEC, Birmingham
