Grimes has seemingly confirmed the release date for her new album.
'Visions' wasn't Grimes' debut album, yet in many ways it presented a fresh slate for the North American artist. Her first to be released on 4AD, it became something of a breakthrough and spawned a series of global tours.
Now residing in Los Angeles, Grimes has made no secret of her plans to record a follow up. Details of potential new material have been scant, though, with the producer keeping her plans under wraps.
Last night (January 7th) however Claire Boucher seemed to give the game away. In an exchange with fans, the singer appeared to suggest that a release date of September 9th was likely. (via DIY)
