Green Day Singer Goes Into Rehab

Following profanity laced onstage rant

Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong is heading into rehab after a foul mouthed rant onstage in Las Vegas.

It’s tough at the top. Green Day recently released their new studio album '¡Uno!' part of a proposed LP trilogy. However it seems that the stress of their renewed schedule has taken its toll on frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. Performing at a music festival in Las Vegas on Friday night, Green Day were seemingly informed that they had to cut short their set. Speaking to the crowd, Billie Joe Armstrong delivered a lengthy, profanity filled rant. (via TMZ)

"Oh, f*** this s****. I'm gonna play a f***ing new song. Give me a f****ing break," he screamed. "One minute left. One minute f***ing left. You're gonna give me one f***ing minute? Look at that f***ing sign right there – one minute." Continuing, he said: "Let me f***ing tell you something, let me tell you something, I've been around since f***ing 198-f***ing-8. And you're gonna give me one f***ing minute? You've gotta be f***ing kidding me! You're f***ing kidding me”.

Billie Joe Armstrong then pushed Justin Bieber into the debate. "What the f***! I'm not f***ing Justin Bieber, you motherf***ers…I got one minute – one minute left. Oh, now I got nothing left. Let me show you what one f****ing minute f****ing means.” At which point the band smashed up their guitars and left the stage. Now Associated Press are reporting that a spokesperson from Green Day’s camp has confirmed that Billie Joe Armstrong has booked himself into rehab to deal with substance issues. Get well soon, Billie! Here's a clip of that rant.
