The lead single was a no holds barred blast of punk energy, telling the world in no uncertain terms that not everyone in the United States is a gun toting Neo-Conservative.
New album ’21st Century Breakdown’ has been five years in the making. A concept album, Green Day have split the record into three acts: ‘Heroes and Cons’; ‘Charlatans and Saints’; and ‘Horseshoes and Handgrenades’.
