Gravenhurst has shared the video for 'Circadian' and announced a series of extra tour dates.
An intimate, stripped back return, 'The Ghost In Daylight' found Gravenhurst experimenting with rather more pastoral, acoustic based songwriting. A beautiful record, subsequent live shows have witnessed Nick Talbot hook up with guest musicians to form the Gravenhurst Ensemble.
Announcing an extra batch of live dates, Gravenhurst has also premièred a new video. 'Circadian' is the opening track from the songwriter's recent album, and finds Nick Talbot indulging in some Bert Jansch style guitar picking.
Lilting songwriting, evocative of an England which has disappeared (or existed only in folklore) 'Circadian' has been given a typically bewildering video courtesy of Sam Wisternoff (aka Anticon-signed Bristol drone troubadour SJ Esau).
A mixture of saturated Super 8 and scratchy 'found footage' VHS, the video for 'Circadian' plays with a number of pagan symbols as Nick Talbot's music evolves around the visuals.
