The organizers of the Grammy Awards have announced that they will reveal the nominees for the 2009 ceremony during a television special for the first time this year.
The 51st Grammy awards are set to take place in early 2009, but as yet the nominations are unknown. The none too subtly titled ‘Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!’ will take place on December 3rd at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, and will feature a host of performances from past Grammy winners.
The event will also mark the opening of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. In addition to watching the Grammy nominations live on television, fans have also been given the chance to attend the event – tickets go on sale from October 27th.
‘Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!’ will take place on December 3rd – we predict Coldplay to be nominated for an armful of awards.
