Graham Coxon is offering fans an inventive preview ahead of new album ‘A+E’.
A return to his spiky, post-punk roots ‘A+E’ finds Graham Coxon taking another u-turn. Laid down in a short, direct, immediate fashion the guitarist decided to leave each track as little more than a sketch.
With elements of Krautrock, Industrial and Factory Records on show, ‘A+E’ is a dark, at times menacing return. Graham Coxon described the album as: “Improvisations, experiments in beats, rhythms. A chance to uninhibitedly make some sort of perversely sad, danceable and funny and despondent songs.”
Now Graham Coxon has unveiled an interactive album sampler. Mixing YouTube footage with computer programming, the clip contains a short burst of music from each track on his upcoming album.
