Pop alchemists Goldfrapp are set to return with their sublime new single “Caravan Girl” on June 30th, it has been announced.
Goldfrapp are currently basking in the warm glow of critical praise after the rave reviews for their new album “Seventh Tree” which went gold in its first week with sales of over 100,000 – the group’s fastest selling album to date.
To celebrate, Goldfrapp are about to head out on a sold out tour of the UK with Alison Goldfrapp no doubt set to unveil a series of outlandish and striking costumes. Before then, the group have just played two very special shows at London’s Union Chapel venue whilst the band have also just headlined the Ether Festival at the Royal Festival Hall.
“Caravan Girl” is due to be released on June 30th. Goldfrapp will play the following, sold out, dates on their UK tour:
June 21st – Bexhill-on-Sea, De Le Warr Pavillion
June 22nd – Birmingham, Symphony Hall
June 23rd – Manchester, Bridgewater Hall
June 25th – London, Royal Albert Hall
June 30th – Glasgow, Royal Concert Hall
