Golden Features Shares New Booster ‘Touch’

It features Rromarin...

Australian producer Golden Features returns with new track ‘Touch’.

The producer came of age in Sydney’s club scene, melding together French touch, vintage house, and more into a bright, effervescent style. His 2018 debut album ‘SECT’ made a dent internationally, while 2020 brought collaboration project BRONSON, alongside dance heavyweight ODESZA.

Since then, Golden Features has taken a step back to find renewed focus. Transplanting himself in Berlin, he’s been reinvigorated by a fresh setting, and the results are apparent on his new single.

Online now, ‘Touch’ is sheer fun from the off, the bubbling electronics interlocked around guest vocals from Rromarin.

His first release for Foreign Family Collective – ODESZA, Gilligan Moss, Phantoms – it bursts out of the traps, a real signal of intention from the producer.

Golden Features explains…

“’Touch’ was born from that synth riff. I fought it for so long, feeling it was too happy and upbeat. After giving it some space I reharmonized everything under the riff and it instantly made me feel something. Claire (Rromarin) had actually recorded these vocals for another song, but the lyrics just felt right for ‘Touch’…”

“To me it encapsulates that feeling after the rave… At the kick-on laying with your head in somebody’s lap, smoking a cigarette while they play with your hair.”

Tune in now.
