Portland based songwriter Jacob Golden is set to release his latest single, with “On A Saturday” available from May 26th.
Fresh from his stunning performance on Later… Jacob Golden is set to release “On A Saturday” – recorded in his bedroom. Inspired by his time in London, the lyrics describe a walk through Soho. The song is backed with a cover of The Descendants controversial punk classic ‘Merican, which contains the lyrics “Don’t get caught in Vietnam, the sickest joke I know”.
“On A Saturday” is taken from Golden’s sensational 2007 album “Revenge Songs”, recorded entirely at home or in special areas such as underground car parks.
Jacob Golden is also set to head out on tour, supporting Sarabeth Tucek on the following dates:
