Swedish psych overlords Goat have shared new stunner ‘Join The Resistance (Edit)’.
The band recently soundtracked Shane Meadows’ take on The Gallows Pole, and now return with an all-new album. Out on October 13th, ‘Medicine’ tackles some of The Big Themes, with Goatman explaining the material is about “the impermanence of life in different ways: sickness, relationships, love, death and how our time is finite”.
Taken from the LP, new song ‘Join The Resistance (Edit)’ is a thick, heady piece of lysergic noise. Long since breaking away from their roots, Goat are travelling through uncharted realms: dream-like, surreal, yet ultimately gripping.
Goatman explains further:
“The track is celebrating when united people are not following the consensus. Asking the difficult questions and collectively finding your own path through a negative world.”
