Glows Share Electronic Jewel ‘Chaser’

"It’s about chasing the night..."

London electronic duo Glows have shared new track ‘Chaser’.

The pair are rooted in the city’s labyrinthine DIY networks, featuring GG Skips – in actuality, Marco Pini of Clash faves Sorry – and his close friend Felix BH. The two met in high school, bonding over a passion for electronic production, and also the broader experimentalism of Mogwai, say, or Mica Levi.

With one EP to their name, Glows have peppered London with enticing live shows, allowing their music to billow out in different directions. Returning with something new, ‘Chaser’ might just be the most potent aural object Glows have yet concocted.

Online now, it glows with radiant energy, reminiscent of Gold Panda in both its melodic inflections and the intriguing manner with which it approaches composition.

The duo comment…

“’Chaser’ feels like the axiom on which Glows was based, the first song I made that people took seriously. It’s about chasing the night, about addiction seeping through friendship, about supporting each other through all falling down.”

Catch Glows at London’s VENUE MOT on July 14th, then Manchester’s Yes on August 27th.

Glows will release their debut mixtape ‘LA, 1620’ is out in September.
