Girl Talk is set to return with new album shortly, which will be released with a blank price tag via the official website of his label.
Real name Gregg Gillis, Girl Talk rose to prominence on the back of his 2006 album “Night Ripper” which featured an astonishing number of samples blended together in an almost seamless fashion. Hailing from Pittsburgh, the DJ’s live sets have become well regarded due to their eclectic, schizophrenic nature and Gillis’ exhibitionist nature – frequently stripping naked in the booth.
Titled “Feed The Animals”, the album will be released via the Illegal Art website and fans can pay as much or as little as they feel appropriate – in a similar fashion to the recent Radiohead album “In Rainbows”.
“Feed The Animals” is set to be released through Illegal Art soon, with UK dates planned for the autumn.
