Rising pop voice Gia Ford has shared new single ‘Loveshot’.
The singer peppered 2023 with a string of essential releases, all building towards her debut album. CLASH caught this potent talent at London’s The Lower Third as the year drew to a close, and found someone with a real connection to her fans.
New single ‘Loveshot’ is an excellent return, the propulsive electronic beats and clipped synths recalling Pet Shop Boys or those early La Roux singles. Recorded in LA’s legendary Sound City Studios, sessions found Gia Ford aligning with revered producer Tony Berg.
Lyrically, ‘Loveshot’ asks us all to step back from negativity, and embrace love. Of course, it helps that Gia Ford provides one of her most scintillating choruses to date.

Catch Gia Ford at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival next month, following her spotlight as one of their First Fifty – on the CLASH stage, no less.
