Get Well Soon aka multi talented German artist Konstantin Gropper, has announced a very special Christmas single ‘Listen EP’ set to be released on December 8th.
Signed to Nude Records, Get Well Soon is a spell binding and unique talent. New EP ‘Listen’ will contain four tracks, including three never before released songs ‘Listen! Those Lost At Sea Sing A Song On Christmas Day’, ‘We Are Cannibal Corpse’ and ‘It’s a Race For Our New Home’. The release will also contain a track taken from Get Well Soon’s last album, the seasonally titled ‘Christmas In Adventure Parks’.
The German multi-instrumentalist said of ‘Listen! Those Lost At Sea Sing A Song On Christmas Day’ –
“Christmas is a time for families, quite often it’s the only time they get together. So the people I chose as protagonists for this song are in an extreme situation of isolation and not with their family and friends. I chose men on a submarine, which seemed to me to be a romantic subject. The decision was also influenced by the Christmas scene in the film ‘Das Boot’ and by the tragic accident at KURSK in 2000.”
Get Well Soon’s home recorded debut album ‘Rest Now, Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon’ became a chart hit in his native Germany, and was acclaimed by critics as the product of a unique talent.
Get Well Soon will release the festively themed Christmas EP ‘Listen’ on December 8th.
