Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly Gig

Singer Plays On London Eye

Singer / songwriter Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly played an unusual gig on top of the London Eye yesterday afternoon (November 11th) it has been reported.

The songwriter, real name Sam Duckworth, scaled the Millennial attraction to play a very special gig, his first since with a full band since the Ben & Jerry’s festival this summer.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly released his second album ‘Searching For The Hows And Whys’ earlier this year. A varied set it included a collaboration with Kate Nash as well as folk veteran Billy Bragg. Also this year the singer announced he was recording an EP called ‘Unnamed Covers’, which he hinted would have a prog influence.

Duckworth played a five song set, and commented to Music News that “it went really well, strange venue but really enjoyed it.”

There is no release date for ‘Unknown Covers EP’.
